  • Are Safety glasses required?

    No, safety glasses are not required, however safety glasses can be used as an additional safety measure. 

  • What is the lifespan of the UV light lamp?

    The approximate life of the lamp is approximately an incredible 30,000 hours. That is equivalent to a 1.5-hour treatment time, meaning you can treat 20,000 customers with the UV lamp. If you treat 40 customers per week (5-8 customers per day), this means that the lamp can last for 500 weeks of continuous work, which is about 9.5 years. Individual replacement heads can be ordered off our website if one ever goes out.

  • Do you have to shake the glue?

    Yes, it is advised to shake the glue for at least 30 seconds. This allows time for the ingredients to mix completely.

  • How do I remove grown out lashes?

    Grown out lashes can be removed with tweezers, just like usual during a refill. There is no difference from classic lash extensions. 

  • What should the distance between the lamp and the lashes be?

    We recommend the UV lamp should be approximately 4-6 inches from the natural lashes. The glue dot should be in the center of the light cone. 

  • Do UV rays cause eye damage?

    If an open eye is exposed to UV for a prolonged length of time, then yes UV rays would harm the eye, however, we only expose a closed eye for 1-3 seconds, consequently, no harm to the eye is done. Just make sure neither you nor the client are staring directly into the light. Included in your kit are black eye pads to be used on the upper lid as an additional safety measure.

  • Are there any problems with using a ring light?

    No, you won’t have any problems using a ring light. 

  • Which remover can I use?

    You can use any normal remover to remove lashes.

  • How long does the eyelash extension last using the UV system?
